Learn to create the next generation of games

Gaming is a multi-billion dollar industry and skilled game designers are needed as it constantly grows and evolves. If you are considering a career path working behind the scenes of the games you love, Full Sail's Interactive Technology Bachelor of Science Completion Program with a Game Design Concentration can teach you the skill set needed to get started.

In the program, you will work hands on with the same tools and technology found in the industry. You will focus on storytelling, character sketching, and level design as you build a game from start to finish.

Storytelling

Our Game Design curriculum teaches you how to promote these experiences in your own games, while still providing a foundation in the classical components that make for great stories – because we think you need to know the rules before you can break them.

Design Theory

By examining current game titles (both good and bad), we'll teach you how different design aesthetics and principles of immersion work together to create a balanced experience that hook players in and keep them glued to the controller.

Design Integration

Our curriculum explores how the integration process is handled at professional gaming studios, teaching you methods for combining the code and art at appropriate production milestones, testing and tracking bugs, and troubleshooting any design issues that arise.
